Connect with your Talent Advisor for additional specifics.ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.

  • Implement and monitor patient care plans.

  • Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.

  • Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.

  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

RequirementsLicensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required OR a bachelors level degree not in nursing, an active RN License, and enrolled in an Alternate Entry Masters of Science in Nursing Program with a minimum of 1 year in the program completed.

Additional Preferences

  • Bachelor Degree in the field of nursing.

  • Leader presence, multitasking, ability to handle both administrative and clinical duties, teamwork, attention to detail, integrity, dependability, communication, adaptability, compassion, empathy, initiative, self-motivation, organization, customer service, efficiency, professionalism

  • 1-2 years experience preferred, not required



  • Phone etiquette, bilingual preferred not required,



  • Actively listens and thorough in note documentation, prompt, empathy, adaptability, patience, attentiveness, time management,



  • Pediatric experience,



  • Medical experience,



  • Administer vaccines when necessary
